Sushi
Teachers are on strike so the boys took me to Yo Sushi for lunch. They put me to shame with their chopstick skills. Josh wants all his food on a conveyor belt now. The dorayaki (or as we like to call them - custard pancakes) were a hit on our table.
I had lobster and mango iso.Tasha tried some and she did not like the sensation of fish eggs in her mouth at all! Joe said he could've stayed there all day.

Everyman
We went to Carnaby Street for me to go in All the Fun of the Fair to get some knitting supplies but it was shut. Boo! But at least we were near Ben's Cookies.
We went to Chinatown for Mum to get some of her beloved bean cakes. On our way back to Leicester Square tube station we came across the new m&m's world. Squeal! Ness bought an m&m christmas decoration. In June!
Our next stop was Hampstead where we went to the Everyman cinema to see Bad Teacher. We sat in the gallery on lovely cushy leather sofas with cushions. We even had a waiter bring us diet coke and plates of posh bread with houmous.
We checked in to the Travelodge at Southwark for an afternoon nap. I gave Mum and Ness foot massages.
We watched a programme about a man in the Amazon and he ate a monkey and a tortoise. Gross!

My birthday
We went to Oxford Street Topshop and had our hair done at the Hershesons blowdry bar. I had the Carlam and Ness went for the Ragabilly. They used tons of hairspray on us and our hair felt all crusty and quite painful but we looked gorgeous so it was worth it. Ness was a bit worried she looked like Jedward though!
Then we had our nails done at Wah. I had the strawberry design and Ness had the tartan. We were very pleased with them.
We went to the Palladium to see Wizard of Oz. I paid £1 for some special binoculars. Toto stole the show. Ness liked the Winkies' chant: O-ee-yah! Eoh-ah! Ness changed the words of one of the songs to "the witch had a vaginal itch" - how rude!
We had afternoon tea at the Sanderson hotel. It was a mad hatters tea party and we began with rainbow coloured sandwiches made with saffron bread, spinach bread and beetroot bread. Then a pink chocolate heart with mousse inside. Next we were instructed to drink a little potion in 3 sips to get the flavours of apple pie, lemon curd and toffee. Ness had her choc coffee cake but I skipped mine. Then we had a blueberry lollipop which was meant to go from hot to cold but didn't work for us. And a hazelnut praline ice-cream lollipop with popping candy. We couldn't eat all our scones as well because we were feeling a bit sick by this point!
We checked in at our hotel - the Astor Court. And we were very impressed because it had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, sofa and armchairs. We weren't expecting such luxury!
As the evening progressed we started feeling a bit peckish so Ness ordered me and Mum to go and find some takeaway and bring it back to her. We asked a road sweeper man if there were any fish and chip shops nearby and he directed us to Efes which was packed with big blokes ordering kebabs. We got a kebab and chips to share and took it back to the hotel to eat whilst watching the Apprentice. Lovely!

Father's day
Tash and Josh came over and gave me and Mum our presents. On the way to Grafton Josh was our saviour because Tasha's car had a flat tyre and he spotted a tyre shop for us. Dad was working so we took him for Father's day lunch at Grafton Bella Italia. Josh was extremely disgusted that me and Tash ate octopus. He adopted our pot of bread though.
