Despicable Me 2
I met Tasha and the boys for lunch. Josh dipped his fries into his bottle of water to make them nice and moist!
We went to the cinema to see Despicable Me 2 and we loved it.

My birthday
We checked out of the hotel and went to do some shopping in Covent Garden. We loved the Moomin shop.
And the shop where chocolate comes out the taps.
Tash and Ness had a spend-up in Cybercandy.
Then we made our way to Regent's Park to go to the Taste festival because I'd won tickets and crowns to spend there. We had quite a few free tasters of different things as we were going round. And we shared a thing of sushi lollipops, choc-dipped strawberries and wine.
We kept seeing people walking round with cocktails in a fresh pineapple
so Ness made Mum queue up to get her one but it was at the wrong stall!
In the rain we sampled the chicken tikka pie and fennel infused lamb chop with mint chutney from Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar's posh London restaurant Benares.
Mum got a bit tipsy coz she had a fresh coconut and the man poured two glasses of champagne into it. She loved it!
We got a bit lost and worn out going round and some of us needed a few sit downs.

Mum's birthday
Me, Ness and Mum got the train to London.
We got the Thames clipper boat from London Bridge to North Greenwich.
We did a 360 tour on the cable car. Ness was scared, especially when it started swaying!
We went to the Kati Roll Company for lunch and shared a chana masala roll (a paratha thing with chickpeas in), an unda shami roll (minced lamb and lentil patty in a roll with an egg layer) and an unda aloo roll (spicy potato). They went down very well.
Then we went to book into our Travelodge in Covent Garden.
Mum got into her nightie for an afternoon nap while me and Ness went to meet Tasha off her train at King's Cross.
The four of us went to the Aldwych theatre to see Top Hat.
I'd booked the cheapo seats so we were right at the back against the wall on flip-down seats without a proper back or anything. We moved to some nearby seats that no one was sitting in which made Tasha nervous that we'd get told off. After the show we got a Domino's pizza and some wine and had that in our room before we went to sleep.

Father's day
Me, Chat, Ness and Mum took Dad to Beefeater for a free steak. It was a bit of a disast-ah coz Chat's chicken wasn't cooked properly. But then thanks to Dad's superior knowledge we won £10 on the quiz machine!

Ness and Chat cycled over to mine and we went to the boot fair. Then me and Ness got the bus to go to the country fair on Parkers Piece. We saw some massive dogs walking about. For lunch we had a spinach and feta pastry and a veg samosa. We also got a Hungarian chimney cake but we didn't like it so Ness took it home for Chat. Ness was hungover so she cycled home to have a sleep.

Ness day
Ness babysat me coz Mum and Dad were in Kos. We went to BHS cafe for breakfast but they'd just finished serving - gutted. So we went to the Snug pub instead and had eggs benedict. It was very posh and came with a little pot of fruit salad.
Ness did some of her usual taking things back to Primark then we walked over to Beehive and I bought a throw from Dunelm Mill and we bought Dad a hoe in B&M. We bought so much stuff we could hardly manage it all on the bus!
