Easter Sunday

Ness drove me and Chat over to Royston. Tasha wore her bunsie. We did an egg hunt in the garden and Chat found more than the boys did! For lunch Tasha made us a starter of melon with prawns. Josh poured his fizzy water into his scooped-out melon and drank it from that. For main we had roast lamb, roast potatoes wrapped in bacon, and veg. The pudding was an amazing homemade rainbow cake. We played some games and watched Rise of the Guardians. I finally got to have an official introduction to the boys' pet rabbits.

Flatwarming

We met up with Tasha and the boys at Scotsdales where the boys held some just born chicks. We did a hunt to try and find the bunnies for a competition and we just couldn't find the last one but luckily Ness got on the case for us.
Then the boys, Tash and I went to the cinema to see The Croods. We got the bus back to my flat where Mum, Dad, Ness and Chat were waiting for us with some nibbles. Josh presented me with a gingerbread house he'd made.

Tylers

We met Tasha, Joe and Josh at Tylers garden centre for lunch. Josh said "This isn't a clemen-tiny, it's a clemen-hugey." He also said when they have banana at school they put it in their mouth with a sip of water and call it banana milkshake!

Sushi school

Me and Ness went to Yo Sushi after work for a lesson in how to make sushi. There were 15 of us and 2 Polish chefs showed us what to do. We all had our own mats and we had to wear plastic gloves. They gave us each a piece of seaweed stuff and we had to squish the special rice out on it and add the fish/vegetables. They taught us how to roll it properly. It was quite tricky and some of mine came out heart shaped rather than round! We made cucumber maki, inari mini iso, california hand roll, california iso, gunkan and a couple of other things. The different fillings we put in were cucumber, avocado, crabsticks, raw salmon, cooked salmon skin, sesame seeds, chilli powder, spring onions, lettuce, mayo, tofu, omelette. We ate some and took the rest home in boxes. It was really fun.

Ely

Ness very kindly drove me to Ely so I could go to Wilkinsons to get stuff for my new flat. We got there alright coz the Chat-nav came with us. In the end Nessa bought more at Wilkos than I did! We looked round all the charity shops as well.
We had lunch in a pub. Me and Ness shared the deli board which was stilton, cheddar, wensleydale, ciabatta slices and aubergine fritters. I was scared of eating the aubergine but it was actually delicious! For pudding we had the sharing platter which was choc brownie, eton mess and jamaican ginger cake cheesecake.
